Plastering consists usually of 2 'sets' or coats, applied in quick succession during the same session. The second coat is smoothed as it hardens,to give a smooth finish akin to eggshell. The time taken to dry varies according to the underlying surface, but will usually take a number of days. During the drying process the wall will appear darker in the areas that still retain some moisture. Once dry and pale, it's ready for decorating.

Dry lining - A faster and easier alternative to solid plastering, dry lining involves plasterboard that is applied to the wall and then smoothed to finish. A cheaper substitute to plastering, also tends to dry faster than more traditional techniques allowing you to carry on with the decorating far quicker than you would otherwise be able to.

Pebble dashing - Is applied in two phases. Initally a render base coat is applied, after which a 2nd coat is applied. While the 2nd coat is still wet the pea-shingle is embedded within it.It protects the underlying brickwork from weathering, and can be useful to cover existing cracks and imperfections.

Exterior and interior rendering - Applying the plaster to brickwork and other such surfaces, we can plaster both internally and sand finish buildings externally. Stucco plastering work can be trowelled or made by hand, depending upon individual needs, and can be applied to imitate stonework or pebbledashed for an appealing look.
